We are fully preparing for this year's Knife Festival

Just like last year - on the first Saturday in August, namely 5.8.20233 at 12:00, the traditional Knife Festival will begin in the sports complex in Mikulášovice. And this year there is also something to look forward to.

We are planning the programme in such a way that both children and adults will enjoy it. Another knife from the Football Legends collector's series will make its grand premiere here, this time with a portrait of the national team player Vladimír Šmicr. On this occasion, there will also be a football match in which the Legends team led by international Jan Berger will challenge the old guard of FC Mikulášovice.

The football stadium will also host a demonstration of close combat by the Army of the Czech Republic, the Police of the Czech Republic will present their equipment and technology, and members of the Fire and Rescue Corps will demonstrate the rescue of a person from a crashed car with the help of the new generation of the Rescue Knife.

Knife fans will also be happy to take advantage of the free Museum of Knife Tradition, which this year has been specially expanded to include an exhibition dedicated to the fate of the UN military mission in the former Yugoslavia at the top of Tango 23 - Repetitor.

A concert by rock bands Na Knop Company, U Práži v garáži and Krleš will round off the rich programme of the day.
