Camp knives

Tents, field kitchens, morning warm-ups, night watches, swimming, flag-raising, campfires - all this belongs to the summer camps we almost all went to as children, we remember them with nostalgia and send our children to them again.

And since every camper's gear includes knives, here are some quick rules for choosing the right ones.

The first and foremost is safety. So before we leave, we need to give our young campers good training on how to handle a knife. And also find out if the camp we are sending our kids to has restrictions and rules for knives.

The camp knife should definitely be appropriate for the age of the camper and also the type of camp. So never make the mistake of using a Fish or a closing Hundred, because that always comes in handy. But if the camp is going to be more backwoods, it's a good idea to consider a Praktik or Crocodile or even a fixed blade like a Brigand, Venado, List or Patron.

After all, kids being kids, Predator throwing knives, military knives, and then all the higher priced knives that we might feel bad about losing are not exactly ideal for them.
