Mikov and Narex Bystrice - Combination of two traditions

When in January 2019 our company bought a manufacturer of hand tools Narex Bystrice, it was a decision, which was aimed to connect and support production and trade in our country, not only in Czech Switzerland but also and under Blaník, Bystřice. Less than a year of cooperation confirms that this was the right way.

So far, the most visible fruit of this fusion to the public is our exhibit. For example, visitors to the spring specialized exhibition IWA Outdoor Classic 2019 in Nuremberg could see the products of Narex Bystřice and, on the other hand, the knives made by Mikov decorate the stand of Narex Bystřice at purely industrial and construction exhibitions. 

However, each such merger of two companies brings with it hidden events, the results of which will not be shown for several years. This category includes the exchange of experience of technical and business departments, coordination and interconnection of information systems or cooperation of production.

Just as Mikov is a company following almost three hundred years of tradition of cutlery in Mikulášovice, the history of Narex Bystřice goes back to the first years of our existence and this year the company will commemorate one hundred years of its establishment. We will celebrate this anniversary in Bystřice u Benešov this autumn.

Now that both of these traditions have come together, it does not mean that UTONs, Predator ejectors, Pisces or Design Pockets have pushed out the production of chisels for carvers, screwdrivers and other hand tools, but the merger of the two companies will help make it better on the domestic market, both in Europe and overseas.
