Mikov and Prim

Our cooperation with Prim began in 2017. At that time, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Operation Anthropoid, we equipped their special package with Orlik watches with our Mikov Commandos dagger, which was marked with the same serial number as the watch. The limited edition of 75 pieces sold out immediately.

There are not many traditional Czech brands that have survived to this day not only as an interesting rarity, but as a full-fledged part of the market that has something to offer in the field of innovation. Prim watches, backed by the Czech company Elton Watchmaking, are such a brand in any case. They do not aspire to flood the market with thousands of uninteresting pieces, but focus on customers who appreciate quality and original design.

It is precisely because Mikov also sees its place in the market as being primarily in the high value-added production of handmade products and craftsmanship, be it in the segment of faithful replicas of historical weapons or luxury knives, that the philosophy of Primu is close to our hearts. We are therefore convinced that Prim and Mikov can complement each other in a suitable way and that we will not remain with just one successful project in the past.

Therefore, Mikov accepted the invitation to the Open Day, which took place at Prim's headquarters in Nové Město nad Metují on 3 September. We are convinced that together we are moving towards further development of cooperation.
