How was this year's IWA? Predator, tactical knives and Cube dominated
Mike's stand at the 50th anniversary IWA show in Nuremberg was traditionally in hall number 5. And since the overall evaluation of the exhibition will certainly be the subject of articles in specialized magazines, we will look back at it from the perspective of the exhibitor.
Handle: stabilized bone
The traditional and durable material for knife handles is stabilized bone. Not only does it look nice, but it also has excellent properties. Knives with handles made of stabilized bone are therefore among the quality products with a high level of craftsmanship. Mikov uses them on Predator knives with damascus steel and RWL steel blades.

Every year, the international trade fair IWA OutdoorClassics takes place at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. The exhibition was founded in 1973 under the name "IWA Internationale Waffen-Ausstellung" (International Weapons Exhibition). The founder was Dr. Gerhard Wirnsberger, at that time head of the German Hunting and Shooting Association (Deutscher Jagdschutz-Verband e.V.).
Children and knives - do they go together?

The quality and aesthetics of a knife is not only determined by its blade, but also by its handle. One of the traditional materials for handles is antler. Although the processing of antler into sheaths is not easy and requires craftsmanship and care, knives with such handles are still popular for their aesthetics. Mikov therefore uses antler in a number of its products.
